If you are considering architecture as a career think globally and act locally. The RIBA is a place to start. Also visit a competent architects office, preferably shadow a project architect with a job under construction, to find out the great variety of tasks that go into designing and directing building operations. MBA offers three placements for school students per year, which must be organised through officially recognised business/education programmes. Ask your careers adviser at your school if you want to pursue this option.
